MICOM Inventory Plus is a comprehensive computerized inventory barcoding system that will help you keep track of your inventory. Point of Sales is also included in this program. To further enhance inventory performance the database file is exportable to the Palm handeld computer. Use the Palm to check inventory in place, and make inventory changes on the Palm, then simply export the database to your PC using the MICOM Inventory Plus Windows

The main inventory database form. Enter in product information on this form. Database file can be converted and exported to the Palm handheld. Inventory Plus for the Palm

 

 

 

Included with MICOM Inventory Plus is an inventory program for the Palm. This Palm inventory program retain the same database fields as the Windows program. The recommended Palm device is the Palm model 1500 or up. These Palm devices include a built in barcode scanner. The inventory program for the Palm has been designed to us the scanner. Once the database from Windows has been transferred to the Palm you will be able to scan barcodes that were created from MICOM Inventory Plus.

Scanning a barcode will automatically display the database file. You will beable to update any field in the database on the Palm. (update quantities for example). You also have the capabilities of scanning in new products. Scan a barcode, if the barcode is not in the database the program will then display the barcode, you can then enter in information into the Palms database.

After making changes on the Palm then HOT-SYNC the Palm to your computer. This will transfer the database from the Palm to Windows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Database conversion between Windows and Palm and then Palm to Windows is done with in each program, just press EXPORT or IMPORT on either system, databases will be converted and selected for HOT-SYNC. No other programs are required. It's that easy!
